Johnny Appleseed planted apple trees across America, and in his honor, our students create amazing projects, stories, and art inspired by his kindness and love for nature. 
At Apple School, our little stars are working hard, practicing the powerful and joyful Ukrainian folk dance Hapak for their graduation performance. Watching our American children embrace this beautiful tradition with so much love, energy, and respect—it’s simply unforgettable.
This dance is more than just movement. It’s a gift. A gift of support, of friendship, of unity—from our children to all Ukrainian children, near and far.

Our little stylists have been dreaming of this moment — and today, their first client was… the school director! 
With tons of laughter and excitement, the kids gave me the full makeover: wild hair, unicorn makeup, and all the sparkle in the world. They were jumping, cheering, and having the best time ever!
At Apple School, the director isn’t just the director — she’s also a friend who says “yes” to fun and imagination.

At Apple School, we always say — our students are little apples too.
Our wonderful mom Milana amazed us all with an out-of-this-world Space Project! 
She brought an incredible model of the planets, showed cosmic visuals on the ceiling, read a book, and explained everything about space in the most engaging way. Each child chose and colored their own planet, and at the end, Milana gave each of them a thoughtful gift.
This isn’t the first time Milana has brought her light to Apple School — she has visited many classrooms, across different age groups, always with the same love, generosity, and creativity. With three kids at Apple School, her dedication means the world to us.

Every classroom — from our youngest learners to our big Kindergarteners — created their own special project to celebrate Independence Day! 
From majestic eagles and festive firework art to flag-colored balloons and red, white, and blue ice cream collages, our kids proudly showed their love for America through creativity and joy.

Today we released our butterflies into the world after almost two weeks of love and care! 
This life cycle project, made possible by our amazing Eugene and his wonderful parents, Boris and Natasha, showed our kids how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. What a magical experience!

Our Red Apples Class had one wish: “Please play with us and do something funny!”
So we made it happen—each child got a turn to put makeup on the school director. The giggles, the sparkles, the joy… unforgettable!
Even one teacher ran in and said, “There you are! We’ve been looking everywhere!”

This week at Apple School, we explored the wonders of the life cycle and our Earth’s natural changes. As part of our project, Eugene’s amazing family came in to lead a beautiful butterfly-themed lesson!
They brought real cocoons, read a special book to the children, and explained all the stages of metamorphosis — from cocoon to butterfly. It was a fascinating, hands-on science experience that the kids absolutely loved!
To make the day even more special, Boris and Natasha brought sweet treats and adorable caterpillar-shaped goodie bags for all the kids!
