What an exciting day at Apple School! Today, four amazing professionals from WM – Waste Management and Recycle Services visited us with a brand-new garbage truck! The children were absolutely thrilled to see the truck up close, sit in the driver’s cabin, and watch all the movements, lights, and sirens in action.

The team gave a fantastic presentation, explaining how the truck works and why their job is so important for our community. This visit was a wonderful addition to our Community Service Program, helping our students understand the value of keeping our world clean and taking care of the environment.

At the end of the visit, we exchanged gifts and made plans for more visits in the future. A huge thank you to WM – Waste Management and Recycle Services for this unforgettable experience!

Another fantastic day in a week full of fun at Apple School!

At Apple School, we are constantly reminded how lucky we are to have the most incredible parents in the world. This week, we were honored to welcome Nir, a proud and devoted Apple School dad, who brought an absolutely amazing Passover project to share with our children.

Nir not only read a beautiful book about Passover, but also took the time to explain the meaning, rules, and traditions of this special holiday in a way that truly captivated our little learners. And that’s not all—he brought a hands-on art project that had the kids painting and singing with joy all at once!

It was an unforgettable experience—fun, educational, and full of heart. Nir, from all of us at Apple School: Thank you! Your time, creativity, and dedication mean the world to us. Please come back again soon—you’ve made a lasting impression on all of us!

APPLE SCHOOL teachers had a wonderful day at the Lakeshore store, thanks to the amazing Edwin Martinez and his team. Meeting on a Sunday, their day off, gave our educators the chance to spend quality time together while selecting resources to benefit our students.

Edwin and the Lakeshore team went above and beyond to ensure the event was seamless, providing thoughtful guidance and support. This inspiring experience not only strengthened our bond as a team but also renewed our commitment to delivering the best for our students.

Today, Apple School visited Fire Station 39 to express our immense gratitude to the brave firefighters who are risking their lives to protect our homes and our city. Words cannot fully convey how much we appreciate these true heroes, who work tirelessly to keep us safe during this catastrophic time.

Los Angeles is battling severe fires, and our hearts are with everyone affected. During our visit, we brought sandwiches, water, fruits, and macarons to show our support and provide a small token of care. The firefighters were deeply touched by the gesture and by the heartfelt poster created by our students to remind them that we pray for, care for, and stand with them.

We encourage you, our dear community, to join us in supporting these heroes during this challenging time. If you have the time and means, consider bringing them water, snacks, or other supplies to let them know they are not alone in this fight. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a world of difference.
